Background
I am a highly motivated, self-taught programmer with a passion for
technology that
was sparked when I was just 14 years old. Over the past 14 years,
I have continuously honed my skills through online resources and personal projects.
Prior to my foray into the tech industry, I spent two years at
university studying French law and
improving my English language skills. I then gained valuable experience in the transport, logistics, and
international trades field, holding several roles including road operator, customer service
representative, freight forwarder, air freight forwarder, and project manager.
Current work/projects
I am currently pursuing my dream of becoming a backend developer thanks to
BeCode, a nonprofit organization that is dedicated
to
helping individuals start a career in web development. This intensive bootcamp provided me with the
hands-on training I need to reach my goals, and I am eagerly soaking up every bit of knowledge and
experience.
To do so, I also attended the "Citizens of Wallonia"
Hackathon, which took place from the 10th to the 12th of March 2023.
Career goals
After my studies at BeCode are over, I have been working for Faraday Lab as an
intern AI, Software & Web Developer. Faraday Lab
is a company that aims to bring AI & LLMs affordable and accessible to everyone, regardless of their
skills, social environment, machine, internet connection or financial situation.
I am now looking for my next challenge
as a Laravel Developer. Originally highly back-end
specialized, I am now able to also work as a Full-Stack Developer, thanks to my prior experience
within Faraday Lab. The work I've accomplished there convinced and proved me that I'm totally able to
learn a new stack quickly enough (roughly 2 weeks to
learn TypeScript & Svelte) to be efficient for any company willing to trust me! On that matter,
I am also currently learning how to make Vue 3 work
within a complex Laravel project.
